1. What is NAPHS?
The National Association of Private and Home Schools is an administrative support organization designed for small to medium sized private schools and home schools. It provides administrative services and networking opportunities for those specific schools. It is a membership based program which seeks to enhance and publicize the successes of these wonderful schools.
2. I have a wonderful administrative team within my school. Why would I need NAPHS?
NAPHS provides much more than administrative level support. We support students, parents and teachers as they strive for success. We believe that the public school system has been the normal protocal for many families because the great alternatives are hidden. In many cases, the cost for private education may be too expensive. However, there are many small to medium sized private schools which are affordable and provide top quality education. Unfortunately, these are the schools we constantly ignore in mainstream education. Our organization gives these successful schools a platform to reveal themselves.
3. Our school does not receive a lot of revenue. How much would a membership with NAPHS cost me?
Our membership fee is only $10.00 annually for home school members. Private school membership fees are based on the enrollment. However, we established our fee schedule with intent on ensuring that it is affordable for any school, no matter what size. Simply pull up a membership application and the fee schedule is listed.
4. What makes you different from other education associations?
Our desire above all is for your program to be an absolute success. Our services are high quality at low cost. We do not have large overhead or massive facilities which require large revenue to operate. We seek to find savings in our operation expenses and then pass those savings on to you as members. While most other education associations seek to provide a wide range of activities, we seek to provide hands on support. Our services have lasting benefits to home schools, small to medium private schools, large private schools and even private colleges.
5. Are you strictly internet based like many other associations?
No. While we do have a website, we are not an internet based organization. You can call our office at any time during our office hours. However, most of our communication is done through email. You will need an email address to receive information from our office quickly. Many internet service providers will provide an email inbox for subscribers. Yet, if you do not have an email address, we can provide you an email address to use for $20.00 per month.
6. Can we utilize some of your services without becoming a member?
No. Our services are only available to our member schools. We cannot provide those services to schools that are not in our membership. Non-member schools may only attend our conferences and seminars.
